S&S 551G Gear Drive camshaft kit with new .551 inch lift cam is designed for engines with 96 to 106 CID and 9:1 to 10:1 compression this is a bolt-in cam set designed for stock or mildly modified touring bikes. Greatly improves low-end and midrange torque, strongest from idle - 4000 rpm.

Type: 551G; Timing Open: Intake 17º/Exhaust 41º; Timing Closed: Intake 19º/Exhaust 17º; Duration at 0.053: Intake 216º/Exhaust 238º; Valve Lift : Intake 0.551"/Exhaust 0.551"; Lift at TDC: Intake 0.178"/Exhaust 0.170"

Gear Drive cams improves valve timing accuracy by eliminating timing chain lash and there is no tensioner shoes to wear out or fail
