3000GT & Stealth Bellhousing Brace and Installation

If you launch your six speed 3000GT VR4 or Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo you NEED a bellhousing brace. On a hard launch the input shaft and counter shafts will attempt to move away from each other, due to the helical gear tooth design.

One wrong launch and the transmission will split open like an egg shell without this brace. In the process thousands of dollars worth of gears can be destroyed and the transmission is often a total loss.

This is very cheap insurance against this catastrophic failure. This style brace limits the machining and welding required, causing less distortion of the case, while providing the strength where it is needed.

5 Speed have been known to occasionally split their bellhousings as well, especially if the car already has billet or stainless transfer case housings.
