3000GT VR4 / Dodge Stealth R/T Center Differential Welding Service

If you desire to run the Getrag W5MG1 or W6MG1 in FWD mode or simply have no slip between rear and front axles then this service is for you. We will tig weld your differential in a jig to ensure proper fitment and slow cooldown. Includes return shipping to the US. You will need to remove your center diff satellite assembly from your center diff housing and send it in.

It is highly recommend if 5 speed and running AWD to have a billet transfer case as this can be somewhat brutal on it during launches.

We run a welded diff and do not find it objectionable, but you will notice it pulling into sharp turns like driveways or parking spots. We would not recommend applying heavy power with the steering wheel turned near lock.

Please note that after welding we may need to touch the weld bead up with a die grinder to ensure it fits properly in your center diff housing. Appearence may be affected, but not strength.
